Tons of Etsy sellers are currently donating portions of their sales to help aid in Japanese disaster relief efforts. Here's a few of those offering up their talents. And of course I couldn't let the bandwagon leave me behind! 50% of jewelry sales and 100% of print sales will be donated to Doctors Without Borders. So do good, go shopping!

I whipped up a few more prints for my Etsy shop. Yeah, I'm a machine.

For Christmas  I gave myself a fancy new printer.  As with any new gadget that enters my life the learning curve was sky high.  But I'm happy to report that after many hours of work  and a landfill of wasted ink and paper I have one print for sale!! I'm so excited! It's name is Firecracker and it looks awesome!

Many, many more to come.

These little paintings (ranging in size from 12"x12" to 6"x6") are my submission to the second annual Small Works show at The S.P.A.C.E. Gallery. It opens this Friday (Dec. 3rd) and runs through Jan 29th. Yep, a two month show!

If you do happen to check out the show you may notice that in person my artwork isn't blurry like my photo here suggests. This is because I use a very special photography technique where I spin around in a circle whilst chugging a bottle of Boones Farm (Wild Island flavor) right before every shot. I do it this way because taking a crisp clear picture is soooo pedestrian. I am an artist and I must  express my creativity at all times or I will just wither away and die.

So if you want to see what these little buggers really look like you'll just have to go to the show.

I drew this for  the Design*Sponge "Design Your Own Alphabet" contest.

Even though a giant trophy was not hand delivered to my door by their entire staff like I expected, I still had a lot of fun making it and I hope they decide to do it again next year because I am now a well spring of alphabet design ideas.

I just finished this commission for a family friend. I don't do a lot of furry animals (they tend to come in limited colors) but I really like how this came out so maybe there will be more.

I encourage everyone to do this.

Lots of people have been asking for price lists so I've been plugging away at a new Etsy shop just for artwork.  I think at this point it's acceptable for public viewing. I'm trying to get ALL of the pieces I have available listed in a  timely manner.  Oh, if only my time management skills could match up with my ambitions. I could rule the world! Or maybe just finish some stuff.  If you buy a painting then I might buy my self a day-planner..... or a haircut. I could really use a haircut.

Go mark it as a favorite and I will mark you as a favorite.  In my heart.  Literally too, if you want.  I would be happy to come over and write "Erin's Favorite" all over your face, or just your upper lip. You pick.

The necklace section of my Etsy shop has been looking quite pitiful lately. My shame over the matter has reached an apex and prompted a dive into the deep end of the "get to work" pool.  Here's a few of my recent efforts.  Another cup of coffee and I may have enough ambition to actually list them.

Have you ever seen art on a wall and wondered just how in the feck  it got there? If you guessed witchcraft, ghosts, or some other supernatural force you would be right... most of the time.  However, in the case of the currant show at Red Square it was a short sweaty lady scurrying around with a hammer.  Don't believe me? My lovely assistant Jennifer took the pictures to prove it.

Show's up through September.
